Why does facebook now get more visitors than Google and twitter are used by Barak Obama, Bill Gates, the Norwegian prime minister Jens Stoltenberg and many other influential people? The answer is simple. You connect with family, existing friends former colleagues and get new friends. Twitter is a two way messaging platform used to send and receive short messages to your followers and broadcast your message to the world. The American Red Cross uses Twitter to broadcast disaster alerts etc. to the world, and disasters are often discovered first on Twitter. While writing this short article and looking at the top twets a story about the Opera web browser stating Opera 10.52 for Mac and Windows released today. That is an important message to me since I have subjectively rated the Opera web browser as the most secure for online shoppers. Cnn uses FaceBook, Twitter and YouTube in their daily news reporting.
